Our Calypso Clay is different because there is no scent added and it comes in a glass jar packaging with a wooden lid. We do not like all those plastic packagings we see or all those annoying smelling products. A clay should smell like a clay.

Does it work for my hair?

Our By Christiaan Calypso Hair Clay works for every hair type. Considering it is an oil based clay, you do not have to be afraid that it dries out your hair. Even when you have wavvy or curly hair, you can use hair clay to add texture, volume and a semi-matte finish.

Our clay works great for messy and tousled hairstyles, but you can also use it for groomed looks with not too much shine. It is a very versatile product and restyling is no problem at all. It does not dry or gets hard in your hair.

And even though it provides a pretty strong hold, you do not have to be afraid that it is too difficult to work with. Just warm up the clay in your hands and apply it evenly in you hair. Use your fingers or a comb for styling.
